Abstract
1418257 Turbine blade fixing CARRIER CORP 7 Feb 1974 [2 March 1973] 05623/74 Heading FIT Steam turbine nozzle blades 43 are secured adjacent an arcuate passage 23 in the steam chest wall 21 by two plates 30,31 having recesses 40, 41 co-operating to retain opposite ends 45 of the blades with intermediate spacers 50, and secured to the wall 21 by bolts 26, 27 which also clamp the blade ends and spacers between the plates. The turbine includes the rotors (15), (17), Fig. 1 (not shown), in a two-part casing (10), (11) split in a horizontal plane including the rotor shaft (12).
