Abstract
366,447. Spray carburetters. HOFMANN, H., 1, Dresdner Strasse, Leipsic, Germany. July 29, 1930, No. 22851. Convention date, July 30, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 7 (iii).] To control the fuel supply to a carburetter, a suction-actuated valve comprising a piston b and oppositely-disposed faces c, d is housed in a casing a. The casing is connected to the carburetter through a duct k, and liquid fuel which enters by a passage m traverses ducts g, l leading to a spraying-nozzle. When the engine stops, a spring h raises the piston b to cut off the fuel supply to the duct g.
