Abstract

Spray carburettors.- The fuel nozzle 4 opens into a casing 5 provided with a mixing screen 6, and the fuel valve 7 is adjustably connected through a screwed spindle 8, lever 9, and plate 10, to a co-axial throttle valve 3 actuated by a lever 12. The air supply is controlled by a suction-actuated ported piston-valve 15 supported by a spring 16 and provided with an adjustable stop 20.
