Abstract
823,571. Carburetters. PEROTTI, A. J. G., and MONACCI, A. M. Aug. 28, 1956, No. 26267/56. Class 7(3) As shown a needle valve 22 is controlled conjointly with the throttle valve 32. Air is admitted below an inverted cup shaped member 18 by means of a nozzle 35. The tube 16 is provided with a small opening 48 which allows a portion of the air which is supplied by the nozzle 35 to escape into the chamber 6. The float chamber is connected to the induction passage by a passage 15. A nozzle 42 is arranged opposite the fuel nozzle 20 and is in communication with the induction passage upstream of the throttle 32 by way of a passage 43. Admission of fuel to the float chamber is facilitated by the depression transmitted to it through the passage 15. The choke valve 38 is connected to a control 40.
