331,015. Costin, D., and Boumendil, A. Oct. 2, 1928, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-A ficatless carburettor is provided with a diverging fuel nozzle 9 having in its outlet a fixed conical deflector 9<1>, the supply of fuel to the nozzle being controlled by a valve 16 connected by an arm 20. adjustable link 19, and arm 21 to the spindle 17 of the throttle valve 11. The fuel is metered through an orifice 31 in an interchangeable diaphragm 29 secured in position in the fuel passage by a spring- loaded piston 24 provided with fuel passages 32. The nozzle is provided with a lip 10 which coacts with the defiector to direct the fuel laterally into the air.
