363,796. Pressure-controlled fuel valves. MoKEAN, J. G., Westerhill, Mount Vernon, Lanarkshire. Nov. 28, 1930, No. 35815. [Class 135.] A valve controlling the supply of liquid fuel to a steam generator is actuated by steam pressure admitted through a pipe 16 into an expandible chamber comprising end walls 11, 14 connected by a collapsable annular wall 12. The wall 11 is acted on by a spring and is provided with a screwed socket to receive the spindle 17 of the valve 8. The valve 8 co-operates with an adjustable seat 5 having inlet passages 6, 7 and adjustably screwed into a partition wall 4 by means of a spindle 19 passing through a stuffing-box 20. The spindle may have an indicating member 21 cooperating with a scale 22. A byepass 9 is controlled by a screwed member 10.
