[Class 123 (iii)] The steam temperature in the outlet pipe 5 of a boiler 1 is regulated by introducing into the superheater 4 thereof variable quantities of water in dependence upon the temperature of this steam and also,the boiler load. As shown in Fig. 2, the water is supplied to the superheater through a pipe 11 which branches from between the feed regulating valve 13 and an adjustable throttle valve 14 in the main feed pipe 6, leading from the feed pump 7 to the preheater 8 and boiler inlet pipe 9, and is provided with a valve 15 controlled by a thermostat 16 in the steam pipe 5. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also control systems for a forced circulation boiler. Fig 5 (Cancelled), for example, shows a boiler installation comprising a feed pump 7, steam generating section 18, superheater 4 and steam outlet pipe 5 in which the main water supply to the boiler is regulated by a valve 13 controlled by a thermostat 20 disposed between the section 18 and superheater 4 and the additional supply is led to the inlet 10 of the superheater through a pipe 11 and regulator 15, the latter being controlled by a servomotor 31 which is itself controlled through a valve 35 by a thermostat 16 and also a pressure-drop register- ,ing device 29, both located in the steam outlet pipe 5. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
