Abstract

360,823. Discharge lamps. CLAUDE NEON LIGHTS, Inc., 41, East 42nd Street, New York, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Beek, L. L. ; 27, Stonleigh Park, Westfield, New Jersey, U.S.A.) June 5, 1930, No. 17431. Convention date, June 26, 1929. [Class 39 (i).] Discharge lamps are filled with neon containing about 1 per cent of krypton. Blue rays from the krypton blend with the red rays from the neon to produce a light not distorting natural colours. The neon may contain slight impurities not masking its colour. The lamps may have hot or potassium pool cathodes and may operate with high currents at normal voltages on commercial power lines. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 8712/13 and 227,832, [both in Class 39 (i), Electric lamps, Arc &c.].
