[Class 75 (ii).] Shades.-In order to obtain light of sky-blue colour, particularly for scenic lighting, a mercury vapour lamp is used in association with a violet filter or with a bright red filter which transmits blue as well as red rays. An additional blue filter may be used in series with the violet or with the bright red filter.
