Abstract

335,880. Bamag-Meguin Akt.-Ges. March 28, 1929, [Convention date]. Producers.-In an arrangement of valves for use in operating water gas producers, the main valve is actuated by fluid pressure under the control of a relay valve, the movement of which is effected by fluid flowing through one of two stationary nozzles under the control of further auxiliary valves. The relay valve 12 which has a hand actuating lever 24, is formed as a piston valve and serves to connect the cylinder 2 of the main valve either to a pressure accumulator 6 supplied by a pump 10 or to a tank 9 subject to atmospheric pressure. The control shaft 20 has a pair of cams 19 engaging follower levers 19<a>, 19b, the one connected by a lever to a control valve 18a while the other is directly connected to a control valve 18. The valves 18, 18<a> control the supply of fluid from a manifold 15 connected to the accumulator 6 to a pair of stationary nozzles 14, 14<a> adapted to co-operate with pipes 17,17<a> leading to the opposite ends of the relay piston valve.
