Actuating-mechanism.- An hydraulic servomotor for operating valves &c. has both ends of its cylinder 2 continually open to a supply of pressure liquid, and is provided with exhaust passages controlled by valves 10, 11 normally held closed by a spring 14 acting through collars 16, 17 and levers 12, 13. The collars have pins mounted in slots 18, 19 in a rod 15, so that endwise movement of the rod opens one valve.
