603,782. Hydraulic control waives. PESCO PRODUCTS CO. April 13, 1944, No. 6844. Convention date, April 30, 1943. [Class 135] A control valve for double-acting hydraulic motors comprises a pair of high-pressure valves 30, 32 controlling the supply from the high-pressure connection 24 to either outlet passage 34 or 36 to the ends of the motor, and a pair of low-pressure valves 44, 42, controlling the exhaust from the other passage 34 or 36 to the fluid return connection 48. The valves are actuated in pairs 30, 42 or 32, 44 by a cam-shaft 86 having cam portions 90, 92 acting on depending stems from the valve members 58. The cam-shaft is operated by a lever 106 and is held by a spring detent 98, Fig. 5, in positions for actuating the motor in either direction or a neutral position. The valve members 58 are formed with a piston portion therefrom extending into a chamber in a removable cage 52, which also carries the valve seat 54, and a passage 66 allows the fluid pressure from one side of valve to act behind this piston to maintain the valve substantially balanced.
