Abstract

1287705 Valves ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 4 Jan 1971 [3 Sept 1970] 323/71 Heading F2V [Also in Division G3] A non-return valve, adapted to be positioned between a supply pressure control valve 33, 39 and a load 49, has a closure member 8 loaded by a spring 9 which has a movable abutment constituted by a piston 11. This piston is of greater diameter than the seat opening 3 and is subject to the pressure in a return line 18. It also has a stem 12 which positively holds the closure member 8 seated when the supply pressure control valve is in a neutral position as shown and wherein the supply pressure is by-passed through a return chamber 31. To raise the load piston 51, hand lever 69 is turned clockwise, moving control pilot valve 33 to the left through diamond shaped linkage member 66. This vents the interior of the pilot valve to drain through ports 35, 36 and return line 27. Piston control valve 39 moves to the left, cutting off the return through passage 42, 42 and chamber 31. Check valve 6 now opens to supply the load. A positional feedback from the load through control linkage 73, 71 and linkage member 66.returns the valve to neutral. When hand lever 69 is moved in the reverse direction to lower the load, a tappet 61 on the pilot valve opens a poppet valve 62 which connect the load cylinder with return chamber 31 through passage 56.
