Abstract
335,832. Weissfloch, K. K. Dec. 7, 1928, [Convention date]. Addition to 287,480. Discharge and suction pipes and passages for pumps; strainers. - A hand-operated pump 1 is used to pump lubricating oil from a container 19 through a suction pipe 14 and a threeway cock 4 to a receptacle which may be graduated. The suction pipe is then closed and the pump turned in the opposite direction to force the oil from the receptacle 3 through a flexible filling pipe 6, which has a shut-off valve 10 on a nozzle 9. A funnel 16 which slides loosely upon the suction pipe is fitted with a clamping screw 15. Strainers are inserted in the suction and filling pipes. The three-way cock may be replaced by a ball valve.
