Fixed-chamber apparatus.-In apparatus for delivering measured quantities of liquids into containers in which the quantity of liquid to be injected is measured in a cylinder 1 containing a floating piston 2 the stroke of which is controlled by an adjustable stop, the adjusted stop is provided with a resilient member which is expanded to lock the stop in position in a fluid tight manner. The stop comprises a rubber or other washer 14 mounted between discs 4, 5 carried by tubes 6, 7. The tube 7 slides in a gland 8 and is provided with a flange 9 against which a nut 10 on the inner tubes 6 engages. The tube 6 is connected by a flexible tube to a supply and discharge pipe 12 on one side of the usual fourway valve 3, the opposite side of which is connected by a pipe 13 to the other end of the cylinder 1.
