Abstract
377,073. Liquid-meters. SAUSER AKT.-GES., Soleure, Switzerland. Dec. 7, 1931, No. 33865. Convention date, April 13. (Class 69 (i).] In a liquidmeter of the type having two measuring chambers and a distributing valve operated by the rise in pressure caused by the filling of a chamber, the supply pipe 3 is provided with a branch return 8 which is kept open until the emptying of a chamber has been completed. The return 8 has an inlet valve 10, which is opened against the action of a light spring 9 by a slight rise in supply pressure or by a screw 15, and an outlet valve 11 which is held open so long as discharge is taking place through the pipe 5, by a flap 14 acting through a rod 13 and lever 12. The flap 14 has a perforation 142 to prevent it from being opened by leakage liquid.
