Abstract

490,963. Rotary pumps. PILLIN, J. B. May 21, 1937, No. 14192. [Class 110 (ii)] A sliding-vane pump as shown, for delivering oil past a non-return valve G to a meter fixed above a pipe C, is provided with a resilient device K to absorb any pressure shocks due to pulsations in delivery from the pump. An adjustable spring- pressed plunger, or a diaphragm may be used. The invention is applicable to a hand-operated pump to prevent shocks reaching the handle.
