328,268. Shell-Mex, Ltd., and Richardson, A. W. Jan. 23, 1929. Single-acting piston pumps. -A pressure-fed vaporizing apparatus is fitted with a pump for suppying oil to the starting cup. The pump barrel 26 is mounted in a fitting 27 which screws into the fuel container 1 and also carries a tube 28 closed at its lower end by a cap 29 with a non-return valve 31. Oil forced out bv the piston 19 passes from the annular space between the barrel and the tube 28 past a non-return valve 35 to the starting cup.
