Abstract

336,528. Westwood, A. E. Feb. 4, 1930. Lever-actuated pumps; reciprocating - cylinder pumps; mountings. -A liquid soap container has a movable valved cylinder 9. reciprocated over a hollow piston 8 by a lever 14. During the upstroke of the cylinder, the soap is forced through the valved piston into the hollow head 7 and thence into the outlet tube 17. When the pressure in the latter tube is sufficiently great, liquid is ejected through the valve 19 and the nozzle 21, throughout the discharge stroke. The apparatus is supported by the lug 23 engaging the socket 22 and by an outer tube 24, surrounding the tube 17, which is locked in position by screwing the nozzle against the base.
