Abstract

627,665. Spray-producers. CARBAJAL, F. S., and SUBI, J. R. July 15, 1947, No. 18877. [Class 69 (iii)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A liquid container 1 slides within a casing 2 which houses a spring 3 fastening a piston 5 against the container base. An air intake tube 6 leading from the casing top has its outlet end connected to the container top via a chamber 18, passage 16, chamber 9 and passages 14 in a cap number 7. A liquid discharge tube 8 has its outlet end fixed within a nozzle 11. Projections 23 on the case slide within longitudinal grooves 19 in the container during its reciprocation within the case, the alternating pressure which is thereby produced on the liquid surface pumping liquid in spray form through the nozzle 11. When not used the container is pressed within the casing to bring the projections 23 within the groove 20, the container being then rotated and locked in position.
