Abstract

The spray head is used for distributing hair lacquer and similar liquids. It comprises the head (1) which is initially screwed down (37) onto the liquid container, this pushing upwards a flange (20) in the head and compressing a coil spring (35). The liquid, or mixture, is sucked (24) past a ball valve (25) and into a chamber (19) by the vacuum resulting from the displacement of a piston (31) inside the chamber. The head is unscrewed from the container and the contents expelled, by the spring pressure, through a nozzle (10) when the button (9) is pressed. The head is recharged by rescrewing it onto the container.
