Valves, arrangement of; indicating action of. -In a pump for dispensing liquid such as lubricant, the liquid is delivered through a sightfeed device 28 and an automatic valve 103, which closes as soon as pumping ceases to prevent drip and keep the discharge pipe full. The valve may be connected to a spring - controlled plate pivoted in the pipe.
