331,836. Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre. Feb. 15, 1928, [Convention date]. Divided on 306,082. Breech actions, sliding breech-block; safety appliances.-A lever 3a is pivoted at 2t and provided with a forked end having two branches 3s. 3t. The branch 3t is adapted to come under a lug 3k by the action of a spring 3r when the magazine 2m is removed, and thereby locks the sear 3 which carries the lug 3k. The branch 3s swings under the lug 3k by virtue of the inertia of the lever 3a and thus again locks the sear if a blow is struck on the back of the firearm. When the magazine is in position, the lug 3k normally lies between the branches 3s, 3t, and the sear is free to be operated through the bar 4k by the trigger 4. The magazine is locked in place by a catch 2a under the action of a spring 2r.
