448,987. Automatic guns. OSAKEYHTIO H. SAASTAMOINEN, Ltd., Kuopio, Suomi, Finland. Nov. 19, 1935, No. 32034. Convention date, Sept. 23. [Class 119] Relates to automatic guns operated by a short recoil of the barrel or by a gas piston 10 and of the kind in which the breech-bolt is locked by a catch pivoted on the breechbolt. According to the invention, the locking catch 4, which is pivoted at 12 on the breechbolt 2, is adapted to be moved out of the locking position shown by a double armed lever 5, which is pivoted at 11 on the breechbolt and is rocked by an abutment 3a on an actuating slide 3, and the return of the locking catch to the locking position is performed by the action of an inclined face 3d of the actuator on a lug 4b of the catch. The firing- pin 6 has a head 6a situated between projections 3f, 3g on the actuator.
