Abstract

Revolving-cylinder pumps,: multiple-delivery piston pumps.-In order to effect liquid displacement by the lateral movement of the eccentric relative to the axis of the cylinders which contain the pump pistons actuated by the said eccentric, the end faces of the guide 5g connecting the pistons 5a, 5b is formed with slots 5d adapted to register with openings 2e, 2f in the rotor extending to its periphery, and acting, in conjunction with the guide block 6, to receive liquid from the inlet 4a and discharge it to the outlet 4b. The rotor is in two parts 2a, 2b, connected by bolts 2s. Pressure-equalizing grooves 5m are cut in in the guide. The arrangement may be duplicated on one central shaft, with the various inlets and outlets in series or otherwise, and the invention is applicable to fixed cylinder pumps.
