Abstract

1,186,360. Rotary pumps. WERKZEUGMASCHINENFABRIK JOHANNGEORGENSTADT VEB. April 19, 1967, No. 56741/66. Heading F1. A rotary variable delivery pump, shown as an outwardly-sliding vane pump, includes a spring- loaded adjusting pin 2, Fig. 2, operable by a stop 4 which is hydraulically or pneumatically connected to hydraulically-operated reciprocating motors 6, 7, 8 supplied by the pump. The motors 6, 7, 8 perform individual movement operations in a hydraulically-operated machine, e.g., an injection moulding machine, and include adjustable stop members 12, 13, 14 to limit the movement of their pistons 9, 10, 11. As each piston operates in tuned sequence the pumped delivery is varied in accordance with the operation to be performed. The connection between the pistons and the stop may be a pneumatic or hydraulic connection as shown or a direct mechanical connection Fig. 1 (not shown).
