Abstract
Rotary pump refinements of the positive displacement type comprising two relatively rotating elements one of which has an eccentrically arranged race with respect to the other element and a plurality of sliding pistons arranged substantially radially and maintained in end face contact with said eccentric race and mounted to rotate in the aforementioned other element characterized in that said pistons are brought to co-act with pockets provided in said eccentric track and communicating with a fluid intake and because the valve discharge means cooperate with successively charged cylinders to control the discharge of fluid flowing in the aforementioned cylinders through coincidence of eccentric and piston pockets.
