884,556. Rotary pumps. HABOURNEATON MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. June 4, 1959 [June 18, 1958], No. 19514/58. Class 110 (2). [Also in Group XXVIII] A reciprocating pump (see Group XXVIII) in which the pistons 11, Fig. 2, are reciprocated by an eccentric and are received in swivel members 8 may also be used as a sliding vane pump in which the pistons constitute the vanes and the spaces 3A the pumping chambers. The valve plates are formed with arcuate recesses 16, 17, Fig. 4, and the plates are secured to the eccentric. Inlet passages 2c are provided and the outlet recess communicates with an outlet groove 21.
