Abstract

Thermionic amplifiers and detectors.-In a wireless receiver employing capacity-controlled magnetic reaction, a supplementary condenser E is adapted to be connected under the control of a switch S directly between the anode and grid of the valve to obtain a satisfactory reaction control when the wave-band of the set is altered. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown) a number of supplementary condensers are provided with a selecting switch.
