Self-filling reservoir pens.-In a reservoir pen of the type in which the presser-bar 5 for the collapsable sac 7 is depressed by a spring 6 adapted to be buckled by means of a plunger 4 slidable in the rear end of the barrel, and having the spring secured near the front end to an anchoring-bar 9 resting against the inner wall of the barrel, the anchoring-bar is held in place by the bent-up end 10 which extends through an opening in the rear end of the barrel and abuts against the end face. The plunger 4, which slides in the aperture in the end of the barrel and is cut away to accommodate the end of the bar 9, is hollow and is split at the forward end to form fingers which are provided with a shoulder to limit the movement in the outward direction. In modifications, the bar 9 is formed integral with or secured to a sleeve mounted in the end of the barrel, and the bar is replaced by a pair of wires.
