Abstract

263,341. Livsey, W. Feb. 16, 1926. Self-filling reservoir pens. -In a collapsable-sac selffilling reservoir pen of the type in which the sac f is is deflated bv means of a spring h arranged to buckle when a knob j in the rear end of the pen-barrel is depressed, the front end of the spring rests upon a ledge d formed near the nib end in order to enable a friction-fit nibsection c to be employed without danger of its being displaced by the pressure of the spring. The nib-section is preferably provided with a bevelled shoulder to guide the lower end of the spring on to the ledge d. The knob j is normally covered by a screw cap.
