Pencil holders; ;penpoint protectors.-A pencil holder 1 is provided with a fixed lead carrier 2 and the lead is exposed for use by means of a point member 5 screwing in or on the holder. The point member may be adapted to screw on to a central part 3 or on to a, projecting neck on the holder, or may be externally screw-threaded to screw into the end of the holder sleeve, the part 3 being either integral with or frictionally mounted in the holder. The device may be mounted in the rear end of a fountain-pen barrel or cap.
