Abstract
335,556. Langden, H. Feb. 1, 1929, [Convention date]. Pencil holders; reservoir pens.- The rear end of the barrel 11 of a reservoir pen is recessed and provided with a longitudinally-slotted leadholding tube 5 in which is slidable a propeller having projections 9<a> passing through the slot into engagement with a screw thread formed on the inner surface of a tube 6 frictionally secured in the casing 2 of the pencil-holder section, the casing 2 being rotatable in the recess in the end of the barrel 11. The wall of the casing 2 may be recessed or hollowed out to form a sparelead receptacle, and a pointsection 3 is provided to close the receptacle. The barrel is of larger diameter than the pencil-holder casing or a ring mav be mounted on the barrel on which the cap is placed when the pen is in use.
