Regulating transformers.-Transformers for arc welding are provided with a movable magnetic shunt between the primary and secondary windings for varying the leakage flux. Additional secondary turns closely coupled magnetically with the primary turns may be provided. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 142,521 and 192,636.
