Pistons; packing; rods. - A piston comprises two heads 1, 4 mounted on concentric rods 2, 5, and drawn towards one another by means of a spring 13 engaging an abutment 7 in the rod 2 and a collar 6 on the rod 5. Grease or other fluid to serve as packing is introduced under pressure to the space 8 between the piston heads through a lubricator 11 and the bore of the rod 5.
