528,535. Lubricating devices. KREMER, R. W. May 9, 1939, No. 13821. [Class 102 (ii)] In a lubricating device in which a piston 1 slides along a rod 2 or the like under the action of a spring 6 to force lubricant from a low pressure chamber 3 into a high pressure chamber 4, packing 5 in a box 7 is put under the pressure of the spring 6 through the intermediary of a ring 8. The packing box 7 is formed by a tubular member connected to the piston 1 and of such length as to limit upward movement of the piston. A cross-pin 12 on the rod 2 serves for raising the piston 1.
