Current motors; regulaling.-A current motor has a vertical shaft A, in the boss c of which are bearings f for a number of spindles g, h, i carrying at opposite ends vanes B, B<1> set at right angles to one another and coacting with stops m so that when one vane is in the operative position the other is inoperative, the current alone effecting the movement of the vanes. Ribs j strengthen the vanes. The motor may be stopped by screwing-down a ring G on to inclined arms k carried by the vane spindles, thereby inclining all the vanes at 45‹ to the horizontal.
