Current motors. -A water-wheel having a vertical shaft g, spokes c, and rims a, b, carries pivoted blades f adapted to be swung against stops i when moving with the current and to be swung into the inoperative position when moving against the current. Projecting strips on the blades may be used as stops instead of the members i. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 16099/98.
