Abstract

[Class 114] [Also in Group XXVI] To utilize the rotary energy in the race from the screw propeller 1, a set of vanes 7 are mounted on a coaxial shaft 3, the power from this being utilized as desired. Any remaining energy is converted into pressure by a set of fixed vanes 9 enclosed in a surrounding casing 11.
