227,057. Dicker, S. G. S., (Akt.-Ges. vorm. Skodawerke in Pilsen). July 14, 1924. Linear-dimension gauges.-A limit gauge comprises a step-shaped member 10 and a feeling member 3 on a pin 5 which is slidably and rotatably mounted in a sleeve 6 of the frame 1 and has a lug 15 adapted to coact with the steps 11, 12, 13. In use, the article x being gauged is placed in contact with the fixed anvil 2 and the anvil 3 is brought up to it. The pin 5 is then rotated and if the article is correct to size within limits the lug 15 will miss the shoulder 22 and stride the shoulder 21. The application to a depth gauge is described. The pin 5 may be charged for one suitable for gauging other dimensions.
