Abstract
217,582. Wirz, O. June 11, 1923, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Fluid-actuated valves.-A pressure-regulating valve particularly applicable for use in hydraulic installations comprises a pair of differential pistons acted on by both inlet and outlet pressure. The valve member B which is loaded at G has four pistons D<1> - - D' of which the outer and inner pairs are of equal diameter, while the piston D<2> controls the passage between the inlet p and the outlet p<1>. Pistons D<1>, D<2> are subject to outlet pressure admitted through a pipe hand the pistons D<3>, D<4> to inlet pressure admitted through a pipe f, the former pressure acting in the direction to close the valve.
