452,993. Valves. SERCK RADIATORS, Ltd., and ROBSON, F., Warwick Road, Greet, Birmingham. April 27, 1935, No. 12677. [Class 135] A plug cock has the plug and casing formed with passages whereby the region over the larger end of the plug can be put into communication either with the pressure fluid to press the plug to its seat or with a relief passage to facilitate turning. In the form shown in the Figure the smaller end of the plug has one or more recesses m adapted in certain positions of the plug to connect a passage n leading to a chamber over the larger end of the plug and an annular recess t around the inlet passage h. The larger end of the plug has a passage o adapted, when the recesses m are away from their operative positions, to connect the space above the plug to one of several grooves p in the casing leading to a waste conduit q.
