Abstract

495,660. Multiple - way valves. GEORGE H., and BROWN & GREEN, Ltd. July 13, 1937, No. 19369. [Class 135] A multiple-way piston valve particularly adapted for controlling the supply and exhaust of pressure medium to and from the pneumatic or hydraulic rams of laundry presses comprises a rod-like valve member having two axial passages isolated from each other and provided with three sets of substantially radial ports 7, 16, 18 adapted to co-operate with three conical packing members 22, 17, 19 whereby the conduit 14 may be connected alternately with the supply conduit 15 or the exhaust port 3. The port 3 is formed in a detachable cover 2 provided with a spigot 4 engaging a bore in the casing.
