[Class 135.] Closure members.-In a fluid-pressure control valve of the screw-down type equipped with renewable valve seat members, the seat 2 is slipped into a socket in the neck of the valve body and held against displacement by packing 8 surrounding the valve spindle and compressible by an adjustable gland 9 into engagement with a ported cage 7, which may or may not be integral with the seat. The gland may serve as the valve body cover.
