Abstract

1381819 Valves CARL-ZEISS-STIFTUNG [trading as JENAER GLASWERK SCHOTT & GEN] 10 July 1973 [21 July 1972] 32944/73 Heading F2V A drainage valve insertable into an outlet 2 at the bottom of a container 1 comprises a valve member on a valve spindle 4 coacting with a valve seat on the upper end of an insertable bushing 3, a bellows one end of which is attached to the spindle and the other end clamped between a sleeve 8 and a vertical pipe 7 that is integral with the valve housing 6, and a discharge pipe 11. A pin 12 in the spindle locates a groove 13 in the sleeve 8 to prevent excessive movement of the valve member.
