Abstract

928,037. Valves. AUDCO Ltd. Dec. 6, 1961 [Jan. 11, 1961], No. 1141/61. Class 135. A fluid-control valve comprises a spherical closure member 11 having trunnions 14 mounted in bearings in the valve body 10, the latter comprising two juxtaposed parts joined together, a one-piece resilient sealing member 17, 18 adapted to provide a seal between the two parts of the body and between each of the trunnions and the body. The two parts of the body may be bolted together or, connected by a sleeve 23 and a cap 24, Fig. 7, mounted around the trunnions bearings 22. Bushes may be provided in the body for the trunnions.
