Slipping of wheels, preventing.-Means for operating non - skid devices, especially of the kind descried in Specification 27,734/06, comprises a rectangular frame i connected at its forward end through a link l to a bell-crank lever m actuated by a pedal p. The rear ends of the frame i pass through a frame c. adapted to grip the road, springs j being interposed as shown. Springs e normally hold the frame c out of contact with the ground. The trame c is weighted.
