Abstract

302,391. Hosie , H. J. Sept. 15, 1927. Couplings for tractors.-A bell-crank lever 3, 6, is pivoted at 2 to a bracket 1 on the tractor. A spring-pressed bolt 8 connects the part 6 of the lever with a projection 7 on the bracket. A ball member 11 on the trailer rests in a socket in the lever 3 so that shocks due both to inequalities of the road and of pull are deadened by the spring.
