Couplings for road vehicles. - The point or points of connection of the draw bar to the trailer may be varied so that a central or non-central pull may be exerted by the tractor on the trailer. In the construction shown in Fig. 1, the triangular draw bar a is connected to a plate f hinged transversely at h to the trailer main frame or body or to the trailer front wheels. The connecting pins k may be moved to other positions in the plate f. The triangular draw bar may be replaced by a single bar, attached at any of several points to the plate f.
