Couplings for road vehicles and trains.-In a coupling of the type in which a member is adjustable laterally to alter the relative position of tractor and trailer, the tractor 1 carries a framework including two transverse rotatable track members 7. 8, while the coupling strap 9, to which the trailer is attached, carries rollers 11, 12, 13 adapted to engage the track members so as to take the weight and the pull of the coupling. An operating handle 16 is r.gidly secured to the strap and engages a slottec. transverse member 15 of the frame.
